My Story...

Growing up in South Wales with the rain and sheep, I spent a lot of my childhood drawing indoors.
My Grandad was a bedroom designer who gave me large design-plan sheets of paper to draw on and I found inspiration in anything and everything! This naturally progressed to a BTEC in Art and Design after finishing school and then a BA (Hons) Illustration degree from Kingston University, London.

Following my degree, I was desperate to stay in the Big Smoke! I took on an unfulfilling admin role to pay my rent and bills, whilst furiously creating as a side-hustle and licensing my Greeting Card designs through
The Bright Agency. Some unexpected and emotional life changes then took me to Australia, where I felt free and regained my confidence again, motivating me to approach a beautiful little gallery called “Signed and Numbered” in Melbourne, who stocked my
Jurassic Lark dinosaur prints for a number of years. Through Signed and Numbered, my work was also displayed as part of the Supergraph Art Fair at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, which felt like a real pinch-me moment!

Skip to 2017 (after 7 years of living in Australia and working hard to get my Citizenship), and I’m moving back to the UK to be closer to friends and family. Back in the cycle of unfulfilling work, in 2018 my health was not my friend and I took time out to recover from a pesky Multiple Sclerosis relapse. This gave me the fuel to build my website and online shop so I could start selling my products directly to customers. When money ran out, I took on various roles again to support myself, but always felt that uneasy, empty feeling.

In October 2023, thanks to the amazing support of my family and partner, I finally took the leap to become a
full-time Illustrator to focus on nurturing my small biz and to prioritise my health. It was the best decision I could have made and I have BIG plans to expand my product range, trade at more markets, collaborate with other amazing artists in my network and to conquer independent stockists and the wholesale market!

I create bold, colourful and impactful art which is a bit different to what you might find on the high street. Struggling to find the perfect gift for that kooky friend or family member? I’ve got you covered! I love to celebrate the quirkiness in life with illustrations of pop-culture and subculture clubkid icons, dripping in sparkle and pizzazz. Where’s my weirdcore tribe at? And let’s not forget my bestselling, Limited Edition dinosaur
Giclée print series, honouring some of my fave Jurassic beasts.

My work is a blend of hand-drawn imagery, digital drawing, collage and carefully selected personal photography, all polished-off with a little computer magic!
I offer a wide range of unique Greeting Cards, Art Prints and lifestyle products (Pocket Mirrors, Postcards and Stickers) to fulfil your gifting needs.

Thank you so much for reading this far...
Every purchase (no matter how big or small) really means the world to me! I'm a one-woman, independent small business, so each order is lovingly packed by me (following the obligatory happy dance)!
I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I love creating it.
